JOB DEVELOPMENT PREP:

During this phase, job developers and job coaches are permitted to assist with the following only: Developing a resume and cover letter, a job development plan, and practicing interview questions. This is an extremely short service to get prepared to begin looking for jobs. This service is maxed out at eight (8) hours.

INTERVIEW ASSISTANCE:

Interview Assistance: our job coach will attend interviews and assist you in answering questions or advocating during the interview.

SHORT-TERM JOB COACHING:

Short-term Job Coaching- are services provided on a structured fading schedule once employment has been obtained. This service helps with beginning the job, learning specific job duties and skills to independently maintain employment position.

WORK BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE:

“Work Based Learning Experience (WBLEs)” is both an educational and instructional approach that uses the workplace or real work to provide students with hands-on experience, knowledge, and skills that will help them connect school experiences to real-life work activities and future career opportunities.
Topics covered include exploration of education and training programs for after high school, workplace readiness training to develop social and independent living skills, and self-advocacy.
